Brankamp

Brankamp, founded in 1977 and part of Marposs since 2012, is a pioneer in process monitoring for forming, stamping, and forging, improving quality and productivity.

BRANKAMP X1
The X1, with a high-resolution 7″ touch screen and fast refresh rate, is designed to monitor and optimize processes, improve part quality and increase equipment effectiveness. It includes detailed counters (order, tool, quality, maintenance, shift) to analyze production and monitor signals such as peak values, envelope curves and trends.
It is intuitive, with auto-acquisition functions (Optimizer) that automatically calculate monitoring limits. Strategically placed sensors (acoustic, distance, temperature) convert data into electrical signals that are processed with advanced methods.
The Stop&Go diagram records up to 90 days of activity to identify productivity losses. In addition, it is compatible with C-THRU4.0 software for machine and production data acquisition and management.
ADVANTAGES
- Machine and tool protection that minimizes shock due to the effects of overloads and consistently reduces downtime and repair costs
- Accuracy in process quality control to improve production quality level
- Increased productivity due to increased run time, reduced downtime and optimized runs
- Minimization of tooling and wastage costs
- Process optimization that achieves greater stability
- Various counters to manage production by order/item, lot, shift, tool and classification
- Process and machine status protocol and network integration for remote data collection (C-THRU4.0 and XBrowser)

BRANKAMP X5
The X5 is a modular, high-quality monitoring system for metal forming processes such as cold forming, forging, friction tapping and stamping. Compatible with various machine types, sensors and monitoring modes, it offers flexible inputs for analog (1-8) and binary (4-16) sensors. Its high-resolution, fast-updating 12″ touch screen with integrated warning LED facilitates machine and tool protection, fault detection and process and quality optimization.
The system includes advanced functions to analyze operation, setup, downtime, speed and productivity, with specific counters (order, tool, quality, maintenance, shift) and detailed protocols for downtime and operator actions, managed by RFID. It is intuitive, with automatic learning functions (Optimizer Plus) to adapt to changes in production.
Strategically located sensors convert data into electrical signals that are analyzed with advanced methods (Quattromatic, Zoom, trending, PQ). In addition, the Stop & Go chart records up to 90 days of activity to identify productivity losses. It is compatible with C-THRU4.0 software to manage orders, targets and stop reasons.
ADVANTAGES
- Accurate machine and tool protection through calibrated force measurement, sum and difference channels for total force and tilt measurement
- Multi-sensor data acquisition and evaluation (force, acoustic, distance, temperature, binary sensors, etc.) increase the monitoring accuracy of the devices.
- Detailed control of production quality with powerful monitoring modes (Quattromatic, Systomatic, Rotator, etc.) increases detection capability and reduces downtime
- Increased productivity through unattended production during breaks and after shifts with simultaneous control of sorters, batchers, conveyor belts and material feed to prevent mixing of parts
- To optimize the tool and machine configuration, the PQ factor shows the process and signal stability for each channel.
- Separation of good and bad parts through fast, accurate and monitored sorting ensures quality of parts
- Extensive documentation of the production process with Stop & Go diagram including production speed, stop protocol and automatic storage of all operator inputs
- Intuitive device operation with accessible menu structure on LCD touch screen monitor and user-friendly interface for machine control and powerful automatic device configuration (gain, monitoring window, envelope curve width, etc.) reduce training effort and increase operator acceptance
- Network interface for central data collection (C-THRU4.0, XBrowser, Tuning Board) and for remote support (Teleservice) enables direct, flexible and fast data exchange with the monitoring system.

BRANKAMP X7
The X7 is an advanced 15″ high resolution, fast response touch screen system designed to protect machines and tools, monitor processes, detect faults and optimize quality and productivity. It includes detailed analysis functions for operation, downtime, speed, productivity distribution and major faults.
It features multiple counters (order, tool, quality, maintenance, etc.), production and fault data storage, tool memory, detailed protocols for operator stops and actions, and user management via RFID. Strategically located sensors (force, acoustic, distance, temperature) convert process data into electrical signals that are analyzed with advanced methods (Quattromatic, Zoom, trends, PQ).
In addition, it incorporates a learning function (Optimizer Plus) that adapts parameters to changes in production and a Stop & Go diagram that records 90 days of activity to identify productivity losses. It is compatible with C-THRU4.0 software to integrate and visualize real-time data, including orders, targets and stop reasons.
